"The Baby"

Matt Zudweg original pattern. Size 10. Sold per 10. A super effective Alevin pattern for spring steelhead. Fish this pattern by itself or as the bottom fly on a two fly nymphing rig.

"Darth Hopper"

Matt Zudweg original pattern. Size 4. Sold per 10. This is one effective fly, so good that it's taken me 2 years to decide if I want to make it public. Not wanting to be accused of being selfish, here it is. This pattern is truly fantastic for hopper hungry trout! Also very effective on largemouth and smallmouth bass. I've caught some of my largest trout on this one.

"Bailout Leech"

Matt Zudweg original pattern. Size 1/0. Sold per 6. An extremely effective streamer for trout. Fish it deep on a sinking line or just below the surface on a floating line and watch trout chase it down. Also available in olive. The olive version is one of my favorite swung flies for steelhead.

"Zuddy's Copper Stone"

Matt Zudweg original pattern. Size 10. Sold as 7 flies in our logo fly box. An attractor style Stonefly nymph for winter through spring Steelhead and Trout.

"Chewbaca"

Matt Zudweg original pattern. Size 4. Sold as 6 flies in our logo fly box. Our "Go to" streamer for trout fishing the Muskegon River. The lively action from the rabbit strip and copper flash along with Aus. possum head that really pushes water make this one hard to resist.

"Ze-Leech"

Matt Zudweg original pattern. Sizes 6-10. Sold per 12. This leech pattern has proven itself in the last year to be even more effective on most days than my previous best wet fly(riffle bugger) for trout. It also works very well on steelhead when swung deep.

"Spider-Hopper"

Matt Zudweg original pattern. Size 6. Sold per 10. This hopper has proven to be very effective everywhere I've fished it including Montana's Yellowstone and Big Horn Rivers. Fish it very close to the bank. Especially good on hot windy days.

"Gray Fall"

This our go to Gray Drake Spinner for the Muskegon River's famous Gray Drake Spinner Fall which happens typically from Memorial Day weekend through mid June. This spinner fall brings out the biggest brown trout the Muskegon has to offer!

"Tomb Stone"
Matt Zudweg original pattern. Size 14. Sold as 12 flies in our logo fly box. As the afternoon sun warms the river bottom in late April and early May, look for trout feeding on Tiny Black Stoneflies.... our first good hatch to bring trout to the surface in spring. This fly has proven itself to be a great imitation!

"Egg Head" Caddis
Matt Zudweg original pattern. Size 8. Sold as 13 flies in a Trout-Guide.com logo box. A fantastic pattern for steelhead and trout. Combines two popular Muskegon River meals... caddis and eggs. Includes 7 with peach eggs and 6 with pink eggs.

Iso Dun/Wet Fly
Matt Zudweg original pattern. Size 12. Sold as 13 flies in a Trout-Guide.com logo box. This is what we use when trout are smashing Iso duns on the surface. It is tied with a soft hackle, but with a little floatant it rides high and looks ultra real. Because of the soft hackle it can also be fished wet just under the surface on a wet fly swing.

Grey Drake Wet Fly
Size 12. Sold as 13 flies in a Trout-Guide.com logo box. This is our go-to pattern for the Gray Drake spinner fall. It is tied with a soft hackle, but with a little floatant it rides high and looks ultra real. Because of the soft hackle it can also be fished wet just under the surface on a wet fly swing.
